   As you launch new marketing campaigns, your packages have to change.  Each season your packaging must evolve with trends, freshened designs and new value statements.
- **Marketplace evolution.**  
   Your marketplace is changing.  Costs are changing.  The supply chain is changing. Shipping options are changing.  Where people buy (Amazon vs Sears) is changing.  What worked really well with your packaging yesterday may not be great today, and probably won’t work well tomorrow.

The short answer is yes.  Consider this, a retailer is looking at your product versus carrying an competitors product line.  Odds are, they are going to choose the product that has the best visually enticing package. Retailers know that they will be able to create an enticing display around it, and it will look fantastic. Goods that aren’t nicely packed might not even make it past the initial screening and onto the shelves.

Making sure that your products are correctly packaged and branded is essential if you want to grow your business. If you’re happy with average sales, then stick to mediocre branding. But, if you want to make an impact, create branding to match.
