What the Pregis Renew™ Program Is
Pregis Renew™ is a line of protective packaging products made with recycled content. When distributors like New-Tech Packaging offer these materials to their customers, it keeps post-consumer and post-industrial waste out of landfills and reduces the demand for virgin materials. Pregis tracks the environmental impact of those purchases and certifies the CO₂ savings achieved throughout the year.
In 2025, the products we provided through this program helped reduce 50 metric tons of carbon emissions. To put that in perspective, that's roughly equivalent to taking about 11 passenger cars off the road for an entire year.
Why This Matters to Us
Sustainability in packaging isn't always easy to talk about concretely. There's a lot of vague language out there about being "eco-friendly" or "green," but not always a lot of numbers behind it. This award gives us something real to point to.
